The Centre for Training and Lifelong Learning of the University of Crete is committed to the reliable provision of services to service recipients and their complete satisfaction, through an organisational environment that aims to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Quality Management System. The Organization treats all its service recipients with the same logic, considering that all have high quality requirements that must be met. Within the framework of the Quality Policy, the Management of the Centre for Training and Lifelong Learning of the University of Crete defines specific key quality objectives that are regularly reviewed and aim to:

  • Improving the quality of services offered to beneficiaries
  • Improving the speed of service to the recipients of services
  • Reduction of problems
  • Reduction of complaints from service recipients and improvement of their satisfaction
  • Confirmation that the Agency's processes are working effectively

In order to implement the Quality Policy, the Agency operates according to the following principles:

  • Every employee is responsible for the quality of his or her work.
  • All employees are fully informed about the Quality Management System of the Organization and take care of its implementation, under the supervision and guidance of the Management of the Centre for Training and Lifelong Learning of the University of Crete and the Quality Assurance Team.
  • The Agency provides all the necessary means (equipment, materials, training) to achieve the quality objectives.
  • All actions, which may affect quality, are planned and implemented according to the institutionalised Procedures that have been developed based on the process approach of the Quality Management System.
  • All control data are analysed and used as part of a continuous effort to improve the Quality Management System.
  • The Agency has appointed a Quality Assurance Team which reports to the Management of the Centre for Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning of the University of Crete and has the authority and organisational independence to ensure that the Quality Management System of the Organisation operates and is maintained in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard.

At the Centre of Training and Lifelong Learning of the University of Crete, we are committed to the continuous provision of quality services to all trainees and stakeholders of the educational programmes we organise.

 After a successful inspection by TUV Hellas (TUV Nord Group), KEDIVIM of the University of Crete was certified according to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and for the scope:
