The Career and Liaison Office (CLO) supports the University’s academic mission through comprehensive services that aim to empower, guide, and prepare students for the next step in their professional development, also acting as a bridge between the University and the job market.
Subject of this Memorandum of Cooperation and obligations of the contracting parties:
The cooperating parties agree to establish a framework for cooperation between them in order to contribute through their joint actions to:
improving the knowledge and skills of the human resources of the graduates of the University of Crete
developing and implementing innovative actions.
In particular, the parties, within the framework of their institutional and operational roles, may utilize their experience and capabilities in order to undertake initiatives and implement actions and interventions for the benefit of the Academic Community, within the framework of the implementation of the NSRF, European programs, and direct European funding sources. The cooperation between the two parties is expected to develop valuable synergies, multiplier effects, and economies in the critical field of training and lifelong education for graduates, which will contribute to upgrading their employment skills and improving their quality of life.
Within the above framework of the quality policy strategy, DODISTA and KEDIVIM will proceed with joint actions that include, among others:
UOC graduates will have the opportunity to undergo training at KEDIVIM . The training will aim to provide work-related knowledge and better connect graduates with the labor market, with modern and specialized scientific skills in their areas of interest.
KEDIVIM will design training programs for the development of necessary specialized tools according to the needs of graduates. The design and implementation of these programs will be supervised by the Center of Training and (KEDIVIM) of the University of Patras in collaboration with the relevant academic officials.
The implementation of the action will be supervised by the University of Patras Liaison Office in
collaboration with KEDIVIM.
Joint organization of common actions, such as the co-organization of seminars, workshops, conferences, and the creation of working groups on specific topics of common interest, as well as lectures/presentations to graduates by KEDIVIM and UoC executives, and educational visits.
The bodies will jointly proceed with the preparation of analyses or studies on topics related to the memorandum of cooperation.
The bodies will cooperate and exchange know-how on topics related to the promotion of lifelong learning/activity.
