Purpose
The aim of the Professional Development Programme is to promote collaborative creativity and Inclusion & Diversity through the use of ICT as some of the most important tools for teachers, in order to respond critically to the demands of our times. “Artificial Intelligence Social Skills and creativity in the classroom of 21st century” concerns the pedagogical use of Artificial Intelligence and ICT for teachers, as a means to cultivate the skills of Collaboration, Creativity and Critical Thinking. The pedagogical utilization of AI & ICT promotes Inclusion & Diversity in that it caters for all types of learners: visual, auditory, kinesthetic etc. hence no one is left out. More specifically, the trainees will become familiar with interactive applications of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Storytelling (e.g, stop motion animation, ebooks, comics), combined with Land Art, Art and Craft of Pedagogy, in order to produce learning designs and scenarios in which the learners will be creative and engaged. During the course, the participants will visit historical and natural monuments of the island of Crete.
